Functional Rapid Prototyping

Stratasys Support Center – Functional Rapid Prototyping

Functional Performance (FUNCTION)

This stage is typically done after a concept has been selected.
It evaluates and determines the precise fit, while advancing and refining the visual form of a prototype.

Validating a design meets the functional requirements is done during this stage.
Validation is done through a multitude of test scenarios which simulate the product’s usage under real world conditions giving designers and engineers the confidence to move to manufacturing.
