Printing Materials

Stratasys J5 Series printers produce 3D prints by jetting thin layers of printing materials on the build tray, until the complete 3D print is formed. Two types of material are used in this process:

•   Model material—which makes up the finished 3D print.
•   Support material—which fills gaps and spaces in the part during printing, and is removed after printing.
